Inspection reports must be sent to the fire official within five business days of the inspection.
Kitchen inspections
The new code requires the use of a new kitchen inspection form.
Fire protection companies
Fire protection companies must list deficiencies and recommendations in separate sections of the inspection report.
Special inspections
The term “registered design professional” was removed from Section 1704.3 and replaced with “person”.
The 2018 IFC also includes new provisions for hazards related to outdoor pallet storage, mobile food trucks, and plant processing and extraction activities
